Optima Nutricosmetics products are available for sale on our online store to customers within Australia and most international locations.
Orders placed prior to midday Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after midday AEST will be dispatched on the next business day (which in Australia is every Monday to Friday except for public holidays).
All orders are shipped with tracking. The tracking number will be sent to you via email once your order has been dispatched.
Shipping within Australia:
We ship to valid addresses within Australia including residential addresses, business addresses, PO boxes and parcel lockers.
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
We offer free “standard service” shipping for orders of $100.00 or more with one of our approved postage or courier service providers.
We charge a flat fee of $10.00 for “standard service” shipping for orders less than $100.00 in value, with one of our approved postage or courier partners.
Delivery time for “standard service” shipping is 3 to 7 business days^, depending on your delivery address.
Can I get my order sooner?
Yes. We offer “express service” shipping for a flat fee of $15 for delivery within Australia.
Delivery time for “express service” shipping is 1 to 2 business days^, depending on your shipping address.
Simply select the express shipping option at checkout if you would like to receive your order sooner.
Shipping outside Australia:
Optima ships to most international locations.
Please ensure you provide your full name, email address, phone number and a valid shipping address at checkout – we will require these details to ship your order with our approved postage or courier service provider.

How much does international shipping costᶧ and how long does it take?
Shipping costs for international orders vary depending on your delivery address.
For orders of $100.00 or more, shipping rates for standard service shipping start from $10.00 and are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
For orders of less than $100.00, shipping rates for standard service shipping start from $15.00 and are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
Delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks^, depending on your delivery address. This may vary depending on customs clearance within your destination country.

Can I get my order sooner?
We offer “express service” international shipping for a flat fee of $40 for delivery to selected international locations.
Delivery time for “express service” shipping is 2 to 5 business days^, depending on your shipping address. This may vary depending on customs clearance in your destination country.
Simply select “express shipping” at checkout if you would like to receive your order sooner.
Import customs, duties and taxes
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that Optima products can legally be imported into their country. If you are unsure, we recommend checking with your local customs authority prior to placing your order.
Any shipment seized by the customs authority in your destination country will not be refunded by Optima. If a seized order is returned to us, we will refund you for the value of the order minus the cost of shipping and return.
Any import duties or taxes applied to the import shipment by the customs authority in the destination country must be paid for by the customer.
Due to the variation in rules and regulations from country to country, Optima cannot provide advice in relation to any restrictions or regulations pertaining to our products or their ingredients for any destination country outside Australia.
Who are your approved postage or courier service providers?
Optima engages external service providers for shipping and delivery of our orders. This includes Australia Post, as well as other approved courier companies that may be used when necessary. Optima reserves the right to select the service deemed most appropriate based on the delivery address provided.
^Optima makes no guarantees in relation to quoted shipping times and takes no responsibility for delays once an order has been dispatched and handed over to an external service provider.
What does “standard service” shipping mean?
Standard service is Australia Post’s Parcel Post service or an equivalent service offered by alternative courier service providers.
What does “express service” shipping mean?
“Express service” is Australia Post’s Express Post service or an equivalent “priority” service offered by alternative courier providers.
If I purchase multiple items will they be shipped together?
Yes, we will ship your entire order in one parcel.
Orders and payment
Do you accept returns or offer refunds?
Optima does not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. We will however replace any products that arrive damaged. For further information about how to request a return or refund, please see the Returns section below.
The product I want to order is sold out – what do I do?
Our strict sourcing guidelines and unique ingredients mean that from time to time we may experience temporary out-of-stocks. When a product is out of stock the “add to cart” button will read “sold out”.
As soon as a product is back in stock, we will let you know via Instagram, Facebook or email; be sure to follow us and subscribe to our mailing list to stay updated.
Will my contact details be shared with any third parties?
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard payment which we process through Shopify Payments. We also accept PayPal.
You can return or exchange products in a number of different circumstances including if a product does not comply with a statutory guarantee contained in the Australian Consumer Law. Please see our website Terms and Conditions for further details.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our products, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind. We will however refund your purchase if the product does not comply with a statutory guarantee contained in the Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds will be provided in the below unlikely events*: (*an unlikely event/s may include, but are not limited to):
- Damage in transit
- Receipt of the incorrect product
- Receipt of a defective product
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any of the above reasons and wish to return it for refund, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include within your email:
- The product batch number
- Expiration date
- Proof of purchase
You may also be requested to provide:
- Photographs of the product if it has been damaged in transit
- The defective or damaged product to be returned to us by return post for further investigation
We must receive returned product(s) within 30 days of your order together with a copy of your sales invoice/order confirmation. Please ensure you email us first, as per the above, before you decide to ship products back to us.
